Spudger

Went up to the allotment early, in the hope of avoiding the tedious whinging children on next door's plot. (Success!). I used a couple of the bags of compost to mulch the asparagus bed (it incorporates seaweed, so that should go down well) and managed to fell another limb off the bay tree. I also found a couple of old Brussels sprout stumps - seemed to be quite a few sprouts still clinging to them, so I 'harvested' them.

Saw great tits, dunnocks and sparrows, but it was only a sparrow who stayed still long enough for a blip.

Did more maths, ate more root vegetables, spoke to D in his Hull garret - nothing else to report.
