Ice park, Anzère

Day 1 of our ski holiday started with a day skiing in Anzère. This ‘ice park’ (that’s what the sign said!) was at the top of the main ski lift. The snow was wonderful but it was quite breezy and you could see the snow being blown off the top of the mountains. A Bearded Vulture was struggling in the strong winds and flew beneath us for a few minutes. It was incredible to watch....he/she was huge.

We then drove to Vercorin which will be our base for the next four days. Planning to ski in a different resort, using our magic pass, for five days. Met up with friends who are also staying in Vercorin and skied with them.
