A change of scenery today as we revisited Hale lighthouse and the river Mersey for our walk. Not so many birds to photograph but the sound of skylarks singing high in the air was just glorious. 

A mixed flock of finches and other birds kept us occupied for a few minutes, but they were too far away for a shot, but this pair of linnets happily posed for today’s blip. 

More time in the garden this afternoon and more planning of what to grow next - just a few cosmos and zinnias as I don’t have much more space left in the greenhouse now :)
