No entry!
Too busy all day to even think about blipping.
I had to shoot up to the post office after work to get a birthday card and write it and get it in the box for 5pm. Brother-in-law's birthday tomorrow and needless to say OH only mentioned it at quarter to four.
This is some industrial sized barbed wire over the silver screens which are blocking the entrances to the Fort where until a few months ago there were some hideous blocks of flats. They have now been pulled down and the council are supposed to be building some modern affordable housing in their place.
It is a huge site with a big high wall round it which used to be the boundary of the 'Fort' which was where infantry were housed throughout various battles in the area over the years. Apparently the gun which was given to the castle and is used for the 'One o'clock gun' came from the Fort in the 1860s.
It is now a historical & archaeological site now hence they apparently can't take down the wall.
It is just up the road from me and I have to walk past it to get to the post office hence this blip.
