The 'After' Blip

More than a year ago I blipped this redundant phone box which was looking decidedly dilapidated and was due for a makeover.

That has now been done by volunteers, and the old phone box is being used during the pandemic as a food exchange station. It is there for anyone in the village either to donate or help themselves to any supplies.

I believe the local deli and even the Co-op regularly donate produce that is past-its-best-but-still-perfectly-edible. What a great idea!

First anniversary of our first lockdown! Who would have imagined we'd still be in lockdown a year later with nearly 130,000 deaths from Covid in the UK :-(
