Figuring out the Big Pipe
Daughter Anne and Fritz the Ferocious discussing
the purpose and possible uses for a large fake-grass covered piece of conduit during a Sunday afternoon visit to the Chattanooga "Play-Wash-Pint" dog park.
The dog park is a neat place to take a best friend (the kind of friend with a tail--or what's left of a tail after well-meaning breeders wacked most of the original). The park provides an assortment of beers, ales, and ciders for the human visitors, an upscale wash room for dog bathing, and lots of room to romp, play, bite and bark.
Daughter Anne takes her dog, "Sadie," to visit the park once or twice a month. I may take Fritz the Ferocious occasionally. Fritz probably needs the socialization... more so than I.
As Daughter Anne explained to her near anti-social father, a person can sit in a corner with a cold brew... watch his or her dog have fun with other dogs... and not feel compelled to talk or to interact with anyone or anything except the dogs. In other words the "Play-Wash-Pint" dog park is a wonderful, near heaven-on earth retreat for old, fat curmudgeons who love their dogs and beer.
