Pasque flower

Today we cycled to Hillier's Gardens for more Spring colour and scent. 
This  lovely Pasque Flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris Rubra) in the rock garden caught my eye. 
The extra shows a rather fine specimen of a Pieris japonica shrub.
   
Not quite as sunny and warm as yesterday but some sunshine and no rain.
