Lost Gardens of Heligan
Today we visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan which were looking spectacular. The main is of the Mud Maiden while the first two extras show the delights of the jungle part of the Gardens, with tree ferns, palms, and rhododendrons.
We also made a visit to Trewithen Garden and had a tour of the collection of unusual rhododendron, Camellia, magnolia and other trees led by the ebullient Head Gardener, Gary Long. The final extra is of their stunning yellow flowering rhododendron.
