"The World Of A Blipper..."

....Yes, I'm really never lost for something to blip right here, and best of all - we don't have to go far which is good if one is not feeling well...

It is John's 70th birthday today - and all he's wanted, was to: "just buy some fish and chips and we'll take a salad and some drink and sit down on the river-bank - just us..among the swans and other river birds".

And so that is what we did, just the two of us..that was, after we had received calls from family far away, and our good friends from here and elsewhere..
Then it was time unfortunately - to go to Pathology for my weekly blood test - at least they are keeping an eye on me after I told them they were overdosing me again - and they had...

And a lovely time we had as well, the breeze coming off the river was cool and refreshing, our lunch was just the best, and the P.S. MELBOURNE was ambling by, and we had lots of company with the very well behaved black ducks, black swans, water hens, Australian grebes, swamp hens, and the extremely well educated sea-gulls - quite unlike their wild and unruly cousins at Victor Harbor (!) - and other places, when one has a picnic lunch -mind you, the Boss here was the big black swan and he kept them in total control - it was quite funny to watch, with the birds occasionally looking up him, all lined up like naughty schoolchildren who could be in big trouble.

And so, the very simplest things in Life are mostly the Best things to do aren't they - and we do enjoy the nature around us here - and look forward to the future, doing just this...
