Mr and Mrs Pheasant

Today's the day ........................ for unfairness

If ever you needed an example of the inequality of the sexes in certain areas of life, you need look no further than Mr and Mrs Pheasant.

I mean - really - you would be hard put to know that they were the same species at all.  There's her, looking all drab and understated - whereas he looks as if he's off somewhere interesting (like a fancy-dress party, perhaps?)  

I daresay, there's some good reason for it all - but, right now, it just seems very unnecessary and rather unfair ......................... ?!
