Hi there, Buddy

Back to the house again.  The curtain people arrived to fit the curtain poles and rails and measure up for a blind in one of the bathrooms.  Fascinating to watch the use of a laser measure to ensure the rails were level; a far cry from using a tape measure and a pencil line.  I was interested to see they installed small ‘screw eyes’ at either side of the rails; apparently this is so they can secure the end of the curtain so it wraps round and doesn’t allow a gap at the sides.  I suppose it’s that sort of detail that we are paying for.

No blip shot so I took this of an ornamental tree in our present front garden; after a dormant winter it is good to see it now bursting into life.
