Crazy Bull!

Saturday was Monster Jam day!

We were tempted not to go...it was expensive, it was cold out, the fire was lit ... but the kids really wanted to go so we dragged ourselves out of the house to go see the monster trucks in action.

On the way there a little voice in the back of the car was singing, "Im gonna see Gravedigger, gravedigger, gravedigger!" That alone was worth the effort :0)

Took lots of pictures so it was hard to choose which one to post. I started out in manual, but then switched to the sports setting and it seemed to do a great job...I got some really clear shots.

Things I learned about monster truck watching:

1. Wear ear protection because its hard to take a good shot with your fingers in your ears.
2. Bring something to sit on the seats are hard.
3. The smell will make you feel sick about half way through.
4. Your quiet, shy child will turn into a monster truck manic fan and be standing on his seat waving and cheering, and actually reach out and high five the driver who passed near by??? seriously, my shy child!!
5. It will be totally worth the price of the tickets and all the crowds, noise and stinky truck smell to see your kids faces light up :0)
