The Final Countdown

This is blip number 300, so only another 65 to go to complete this chronicle of my sixtieth year. It has to be said that, as I started whilst we were in lockdown, we’re still in lockdown now, and we’ve had another short lockdown and various tier restrictions along the way, it’s actually quite remarkable I’ve managed to find something different to post each day!
Today was another quiet day, thanks to some fairly atrocious weather outside. We did, however, manage a drive by of another bungalow that has just come on the market. Needs a fair bit of modernisation but definitely worth a closer look. Mrs C obviously agreed as, in the time it took me to pop into Asda for a litre of milk, she had phoned the estate agent, made an appointment to view and discovered there had been a lot of interest and one declined offer so far!
Another gap in the showers after lunch and we went out for a walk. Stayed reasonably close to home in case the hail returned suddenly. We found ourselves walking down the road where we had viewed - and rejected on price grounds - a bungalow a couple of weeks back. Realised we may have been a bit hasty with that decision. I suspect that things may become a clearer after next weeks viewing of the other property.
Considering it’s been a “quiet” day, we’ve got quite a bit to think about over the next week or so. Hopefully we can come to a decision soon. I’d like to think that we will know whether to stay or move by the time the country starts to open up again after Easter.
