Always works! Offending bolt head finally removed but I had to remove the shock to do so.

However with it on its side (I left it to celebrate with a can) I found when I returned after an hour there was a pool of oil indicating that a seal had failed.

All that cursing wasted as it means I now need 2 new ones. Bu**er!
