Limited Edition Prints

A dull and very windy day today, so I photographed a couple of limited edition prints by Ken Burton that I got many, many years ago when holidaying in the lake district. This afternoon I enjoyed watching Remembering the Oscars with Janette and Aljaz, something to keep me going until the theatres re-open (my booking for Les Miserables was put back a year when the pandemic started, and has now been put back again until Autumn 2022). Streaming via a Fire TV Stick worked really well.

Day 377 / Day 82 of Lockdown 3 / Day 21 of Step 1 of Roadmap out of Lockdown (for my record only)
UK deaths up 19 to 126,592 (revised basis), with 3,862 new cases, 4,560 patients in hospital, 615 on ventilation and 343 new admissions. 30.2m have now received their first dose of the vaccine (57% of adults) and 3.5m have had their second dose. Some Moderna vaccines are expected to arrive for the first time in the UK in April. The Transport Secretary announces that foreign lorry drivers arriving in England for more than 2 days will have to take a Covid test (why not UK drivers and why wait for 3 months after drivers leaving the UK had to be tested?) In Paris, critical care doctors are warning they could be overwhelmed by Covid cases. The Duchess of Cambridge has launched Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020, a book with 100 photographs illustrating the pandemic. The project in conjunction with the National Portrait Gallery will also raise funds for the mental health charity MIND and arts projects.
