Hope is within sight
Tomorrow we can follow the outdoor rule of six. Another couple of weeks and things should start opening up again, if the fair winds remain behind us.
Talking of winds -
We went for a bike ride this morning, which was lovely although not warm, and there was a headwind when we turned around and came back down the canal from West Byfleet. Going up we were clocking 9.5 mph but coming back it was nearer 8.0, although some of that may have been down to feeling a bit tired. My ebike was performing well after its recent service, but an hour in the saddle is enough for my backside, so glad to get home.
Everyone feeling a bit tired after losing an hour to the clock change on top of a late night, but we had a lovely long chat with TGR this afternoon. British Colombia is seeing a rise in Covid cases (although not deaths) so it is less positive out there.
The day after the clocks change always feels a bit odd but we have three days of good weather ahead apparently, so here’s to some sunshine before Easter...
