Family

When our friends who own the Chianti Sculpture Park decided to retire, they sold some of the sculptures in their garden.  MrHCB bought two, which he had shipped to the UK.  Today he hired an Avant to move the heavier one into place with the help of our friend Mike (hidden by the sculpture).  The sculpture, called Family, is carved out of granite and weighs 700kg.  It doesn't normally wear a purple "life jacket", this is the harness for lifting.  It came in what looks like a huge coffin lying alongside.  It is by a Vietnamese lady sculptor and we already have a smaller piece in the garden that I have blipped before.
