Feeling fresh
Mr A and I decided that from 1st March, we would try and cut down on carbs and it’s actually been easier than we thought.
In particular, bread was becoming a bad habit; it’s just an easy option for a meal. Toast for breakfast (and supper some nights) and sandwiches for lunch or buttered bread on the side.
We’ve also given up rice and pasta and limited the amount of potatoes we have.
To compensate for the lack of these adding bulk to our meals, we’ve upped our veggie intake (which was quite good already) and can honestly say we’ve enjoyed our meals much more for it.
As an added bonus, we’ve both lost a bit of weight too, which we are pleased about.
Summer bodies are go! :-)
