Fact or fiction?

This series of adverts dropped into my mailbox today. Clearly it’s gone viral and it’s doing the rounds.
 
But is it true? Well, yes and no. Reuters fact checked it. While all the adverts were genuine, with the exception of the cigarette one, they were not put out by the CDC (US centre for Disease Control and Prevention).
 
At a time when some groups of people are questioning the science behind Covid adverts like this circulating on the internet do little to build trust in science.
