Carousel

The carousel was most definitely one of the highlights of our trip to DC this spring break. Lily jumped quickly onto this dragon and enjoyed the whole ride. May enjoyed a more tame looking horse and Ruby, of course, the "princess carriage". The best thing was that although we emerged from the metro at nearly 6pm, and the carousel was supposed to close by 5:30, we just made it to purchase tickets for the last ride of the day. The kids were delighted. This topped a really good day at the national zoo with some friends from Alexandria. We had a quick peak into the Natural History Museum and then it was back to the hotel for some much needed rest.
