The Perfect Day
It should have been!
An unrelenting headache and a trip to the walk in centre with a poorly 10 year old got in the way of the glorious sunshine and spring-like temperatures.
I did manage a couple of sessions around the garden without actually doing any gardening. Plenty of sunlit camera-fodder and perhaps I did pull out one or two weeds along the way.
In truth while the headache will fade the picture will not so the memories will surpass the days events.
Crocus sieberi ssp sieberi, from Cretan mountains, pristine white with a creme-egg centre, the outer purple markings hidden as the flower basks in the sunshine.
