Tufted duck

Tuesday morning walk at Mugdock, overcast but fairly mild.
This is a little male tufted duck with a lovely bright yellow eye, the females are a plainer chocolate brown colour. There were also a few pairs of goosanders, a pair of swans and mallards.
There has been a film crew based in the park for the past couple of weeks and although there was no filming taking place while we were there today, Mugdock Castle was staged for what looks like a historical drama.
