Not Appendicitis

Lots of coming and going, obs and meds, meds and obs, and I managed a snooze, only to be awoken and jabbed in the stomach with a blood thinner (not expected, and quite sore). Managed to sleep reasonably well until 4am, when the obs and meds cycle began and again, and I was hooked up to a drip for my 'nil by mouth'. Managed another wee snooze before morning, pain levels just the same - not that sore.

Went for an ultrasound just before lunch to check lots of different things, but results suggested the pain was definitely coming from my appendix. No other issues. 

Lots of waiting, but was allowed a cup of tea and a sandwich. Felt really not too bad, with no discomfort at all if I stayed still. Pain began to subside, and no other warning signs. I was allowed to go home, and got an amazingly quick discharge.

Seems my appendix was just disgruntled, not properly angry.
