Waking Anemone

I was out early for my walk as I was expecting a parcel collection ‘sometime between 9:00 - 18:00’. The wood anemones were just beginning to open up as the sun shone through the trees. Also spotted some more bluebells…

Just before 9 I got an email saying the courier was coming between 9:30 - 10:30! Typical. Anyway they came around 10. So I spent most of the rest of the day in the garden…my annual hack and bash day. Had to fix the lawnmower - the return spring in the on/off handle had stopped working - discovered it had fallen out of place, so I ‘epoxied’ it back in place - hopefully it won’t shift again.  

I have completed over 350 miles on my virtual Lands End to John O’Groats - I am somewhere to the east of Redditch :-)
