I had a fabulous morning at Huntley Meadows, even though I got a late start because of the late Hockey game from the west coast the night before.  It's hard to get to bed at 1 am to get up at 6, so I decided to just go whenever I woke up which was more like 8:30.  

The highlight of the morning was finding this beauty perched quite high in a tree but close enough to get a fairly decent shot.  There was also a hawk in a nearby tree and several Wood Duck couples.  

The extra is a shot of a female Merganser and a male Wood Duck passing like two ships.
