Huskies on the Glacier

Happy dogs in their snowy element, but it was so warm up up on the glacier the people on the sled look like they are in the middle of summer!

The best moment of the morning was a fleeting glimpse of a Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria) flying onto the Quille, the spike of rock I published a week or so ago. I only had my lightweight 300mm lens with me so the quality is not so good but it is definitely one of these pretty and elusive birds. See if you can spot it in extra! Their beaks are so long.
