Red

Another hot day. Our weekly shop wasn't arriving until after two so I didn't get out for a walk until later.  I find it a bit difficult walking in this weather, I think I prefer it a bit cooler for taking my exercise.  Anyway I made it to Shottery and back.  Along the way I saw these flowers of an ornamental quince; the bright red stood out against the stripped back, leafless bush it was growing through.  

In other news: I received a text inviting me to book an appointment for my second Pfizer jab.  I'm being done early Friday morning at the local hospital, only nine weeks since my first immunisation!
