Worcester

We had a full day in Worcester today.  First thing we paid a second visit to a property we'd viewed two or three weeks back.  This time round we were more impressed and ended up going to their estate agents and putting in an offer.

We then walked into the town centre, stopping off for a coffee on the way, to meet friends in Cathedral Square for a reunion lunch.  We had not gathered together since well before the pandemic.  The eight of us went to the Cosy Club restaurant, overlooking the square, for a couple of hours of catchup chat and a very nice lunch.  Whilst there I had a phone call saying our offer had been accepted.

After lunch we walked back to Emma's house and had a nice time watching Raffy deciding which bits of his tea he wanted to eat, and which were destined for the floor where Luna hoovered them up.

Photo: The Knife Angel, which has been touring the country, had centre stage in the square, facing the cathedral.   Today is its last day in Worcester.   The sculpture is made by Alfie Bradley from over 100,000 knives and blades confiscated by police from across the country. (More in extras).
