Camellia

A leisurely walk with the camera late morning, lots of stopping and watching in the almost warm weather. I haven’t been in Pollok Park for a few days and I was amazed at the difference , so much colour everywhere. I think this is a camelia. I wasn’t quite quick enough to blip a delightful collie who appeared to practising mushing, leading his owner on a long leash attached to the chap’s waist, who shouted out ‘right’ and dog immediately shot off right, through the trees. I’m not sure who was enjoying it more, they both had huge grins.
A zoom session with Ricefield Arts in the afternoon – drawing blossom. I was a bit distracted having just started to read Shuggie Bain which I was reluctant to put aside. One of the many bonuses of living where we do is that there is a tradition of the neighbours pooling their finished reading material, we are never short of books.
