Today was chilly and gray but without the forecast rain. Sat with Harry for a couple hours and Udo called. Harry perked way up and said “Guten Abend.” He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Also visited East Berlin as a journalist in the early ‘60s.

Marti drove Jason and niece Josie to the airport for their trip to Kansas, where they’re going to visit his parents and a couple universities Josie is considering. So we’re all hither and yon. Marti is staying next door with her folks tonight, along with puppy Boone, so Felix is enjoying the run of the house...we just had a lovely game of chase. Maybe given awhile (quite awhile) he would warm to Boone.
