Thursday: Foraged Food
Weather overcast with a chilly breeze, down to 10°C but perfect for drying the washing outdoors.
MrD went for a motorbike ride into the mountains and said it was even colder there, 5°C.
Made compote from our own stored Bramley apples with frozen wild blackberries collected a few yards from our front door last September.
Salad leaves from the garden and greenhouse. Lots of salad seedlings growing nicely too, food for a few weeks' time, maybe ...
I repotted seedlings of Japanese Quince, similar to these - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2550022318881508183 - seedlings are only a couple of inches tall, thy can have a little holiday in the greenhouse because we have a few days of icy Arctic winds from Monday :-((
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone and warm and cosy :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
