Moody Day

We did get the rain I'd hoped for, almost 2 inches. 1.9 inches to be precise. I'm a bit of a rain gauge nerd. This is our mostly dead plum tree but it has the best shape. It represents well the moody day both without and within today.

The second photo is a few of my chickens. They are all old and not laying any more. The one in the front is by far my favorite. Her name is Scruffy. She is low on the pecking order but really the smartest of them all. I have made her little fleece capes to wear in past years when her back has been bare.
