Sprinkles

After work we headed off to Sherwood pines for a walk. It's not far from the hospital and we had an early evening appointment with my oncologist so we walked the dogs and had a picnic then went there.

Our surprise picnic was sent to me by a group of wonderful friends who send me treats every now and then to let me know they're thinking of me whilst I go through my treatment. We got an Easter afternoon tea hamper from piglets pantry with scotch eggs, sausage rolls, mini quiches, cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and little Easter biscuit decorating kits for the kids with puzzle books. It was so lovely. Theres still quite a lot left too!

Eva decided not to put the sprinkles on her biscuit but dipped her tongue in the sprinkles pot instead!

Nell also cut her tongue on the brambles (see extra). Don't look if you're squeamish! It stopped bleeding pretty quickly but she did look like she'd stepped off a horror movie set!
