When I went down to the woods today...

I discovered that the wood anemone had opened up. When I saw them previously, the flowers were cupped into pinky bells. (See extra photo.) I wouldn't have known what they were, but a kind blipper told me last year. There are three patches in a corner of the oak wood. This wood is relatively small, but full of discoveries. I am absolutely sure that it once covered a much larger area.
