Purple Sprouting

I spent part of the day clearing weeds from the vegetable plot, not the easiest task to do with my current mobility issues, so it was down on my hands and knees with a trowel. I still managed to get more done than I expected and more importantly didn't cause any problems elsewhere.

Not removed was the purple sprouting broccoli that has over wintered and is now coming to life.
