waiting

Easter saturday is the day the church wait for the resurrection of Jesus after Good Friday
We had a good day yesterday. we attended the hour at the cross in person then the online service for our church and then Tenebrae online at St johns egham. the later being the reflective service of the prophecies of Jesus from the old testament. Tonight we watched the Happy Prince produced by The Kings Chamber Orchestra.
Today has been a lazy day really. woke up late, got up late and before we knew it it was lunch time. We went to the bakers which took nearly 2 hours as we kept meeting people and chatting! good to talk though. we noticed the hair dresser was taking bookings so we booked appointments for April !3th. 
After Posting yesterday my sister messaged me to say her  grand daughter had a baby girl at midday. how wonderful technology is as she sent a picture as well. so baby born in Uk picture sent to Spain then back to uk to us. Then on to Canada and Cornwall to tell my children they have a new cousin.
And my brother in Spain gets his Covid jab tuesday. Not sure about my sister.
The picture is the Camellia outside the dining room doors. It always looks a bit tatty even though it is well sheltered.
