Remember 78s ?

This is a felt pad that sits on the record player as a cushion and then your old 78 record sits on top for playing.
I purchased this early last year for an ‘old record enthusiast’ friend. Tucked it away for safe- keeping for his birthday.
My finding it today brought back many deep feelings ..... he passed away suddenly the day before his birthday last July. I miss him dearly but thinking of him brings wonderful memories. We had a super friendship and shared many fun experiences; a road-trip to my former Poconos vacation home, overnite trips to DC, Baltimore & Philadelphia museums, off-season day-trips to the Jersey shore and Parks, and on & on & on.
No sadness now....just poignant smiles.
