My family of 14 (including 2 ‘grands’ under 6ys) is having dinner at a socially-distanced restaurant. It’s a lovely local Italian BYOB with homemade pasta. ‘Italian’ brings thoughts of my Mom’s holiday cooking.
But Easter was the only holiday dinner that my Mom did Not prepare. Dad’s treat to her and we five (5) daughters was to go out for that holiday, after Church. I believe the fact we were all dressed in our finest Easter outfits and bonnets also had something to do with Mom & Dad wanting to show us off. That aside, it was a pleasure we all enjoyed (including the ‘show-off’ part, haha).
