Winter Debris

Warm evening light catches the bright dry reeds washed up on the rocks along the shore. They make an interesting arrangement of lines, at odds with the darker stone textures. I was also drawn the the sienna tones of the larger rock underwater.

In bright light with deep shadows, I still prefer to show plenty of detail except perhaps in the darkest recesses. I think it's a balance between providing enough in the image to explore and a little mystery.
