Chocolate Vine

This unusual small dark purple flowered climber caught my eye at the Allotment site climbing profusely over an arched trellis.  Had to look it up as I had never seen it before.  Common name is Chocolate Vine or Akebia quinata.  
So many unusual flowering plants grown at an allotment site it's as good as going to RHS Hyde Hall - well almost!
