The Easter.... Jackdaw!

No sign of the sparrowhawk in the garden this evening, so have had to snap one of the jackdaws instead!  

Glorious day of weather, after a chilly start, and we finally managed to build arch #2, which didn't take as long as #1 but there was still some swearing! Thankfully the old rose and clematis haven't suffered too much when we took down the old arch, and hopefully they will thrive on this new, slightly taller arch! The old arch was the one normally sat on by the sparrowhawk, so maybe she's not happy with the changes we've made!

Had an afternoon of reading in the sunshine - Trap for Cinderella by Sebastien Japrisot -, had lunch delivered by a local cafe, and now an evening of tv watching and cross stitch lies ahead... and some easter egg scoffing too!
