startled sparrowhawk

She is still visiting! She turned up late last night, but have just seen her in the garden this evening although she didn't stay for too long tonight. I'm just happy to sit and watch!

mad day of weather today! Started off cloudy and cold and we had a visit to Hyde Hall booked so we ventured out for some fresh air, and ended up sitting on a bench drinking a cup of tea in a snow shower!  My Dad wasn't best pleased haha! Thankfully it was only a brief shower, but the cold weather had put many people off from visiting as it was supposed to be a fully booked day for HH, but it was pleasantly empty for our hour walk!  Nice to watch the 2 swans there, although they weren't pleased with the prescence of some geese and spent their time chasing them away from 'their' water!
