Roll away the stone ......

A bright start but got windy and cooler as the day went on.
Cattle fed then milked out yesterday's cow and fed the twins. The white faced one sucked the bottle no bother but it's twin wouldn't play ball so had to tube it.
Then took the bandage off the blk that cut his leg last week. It's still a bit raw but will hopefully heal better with some air round it. Bedded the shed to try and keep it clean.
Spent the afternoon rolling the 43 acres of barley that was sown last night. And lifting the stones that were too big to roll in. We roll the fields to bury the stones so they don't damage the combine or baler and also to consolidate the soil round the seed so it germinates and grows better.
Was just finished when the rain / drizzle started. Jammy or what !
