Busy going nowhere ...
We met T’s sister in town today for a socially distanced walk. It was the first time we had met in 3D since last year. Strange times for us all.
Earlier we had seen local families hiding eggs in their gardens for their children. We were very envious of the grandparents being able to reunite with their families. Too bad there was such a chill in the air after yesterday’s spring sunshine. We also thought of those families who live thousands of miles from their loved ones. Their hopes and travel plans remain hostage to the data of this pandemic as do ours.
The boat races on the Great Ouse were both won by Cambridge. Did home waters give them an unfair edge?
My blip shows a virtually deserted Waverley at midday.
