Newt’s Breakfast

A beautiful clump of frogspawn has appeared in the pond. I’m not optimistic for the outcome. If it survives the coming cold snap, the tadpoles will surely be devoured by our thriving newt colony.
There was also a Red Admiral in the garden. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one so early!
