True Blue

A blustery one today so once a few errands were out of the way this morning, a fairly lazy day. The front garden is looking good with narcissi and grape hyacinths at their best.
It will soon be time for monitoring to begin for us. At Longshaw, the butterfly monitoring season has begun and my first week will be week 2, so Friday onwards. Once word goes out that the Pied Flycatchers have arrived, it will be all hands to the pump to keep track of them. Then there is the BTO Breeding Bird Survey to fit in over the course of the Spring .
