Home-made Felafels

Back-blipping.....

I had the notion to make falafels and did it on a lighter work day. Not having a blender/mixer (would it work in a Nutribullet I wondered?) it was a bit time consuming to crush the chickpeas which had been soaked over night (all the recipes said not to use jarred chickpeas) but worth it as they were very tasty.  Had them for dinner with pita breads, sliced tomatoes and cucumber and dressing made from tahini, lime juice and paprika.  Plenty left for snacks.  The pita breads were bought from our local Turkish place. 

We enjoyed these while watching Peter May on a webinar, talking about his latest book The Night Gate.
