Deceptive

Today was one of those sunny days that fools you into thinking that summer is near, and then surprises you with crisp, icy breezes. Brrr.

A solo stroll around the Botanics was pure pleasure this afternoon. Lots of ideas for this year in the garden. The glasshouses (1967) and herbarium (1964) looking fabulous in the sun. Up close, the glasshouses and nearby palm house look sorely in need of some work. I do hope the snazzy new glasshouse project provides some new funds for repairs... can't see the point if they don't look after what they've already got.
