I dropped off some birthday cakes to the lady who’s daughter employs me at me second job, then called in at the farm to catch whoever was there. All 3 girls and 2 grandkids were there so had a good catch up. I was asked to help put the horses out and as we went round to the stables this heifer had not long given birth. She still looks a bit surprised! A few minutes later she was up and the calf was having his first drink.

Then I met my mate Maria and her mad terrier, Meg. The extras are of her, so pleased with the ‘wee’ stick she’d found, and Penny’s cakes.
