I had a busy morning getting ready for my trip to Edinburgh. My partner was great , making me a packed lunch and helping me to pack my bags
The ambulance arrived mid morning and I had a nice journey up to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary DCN.
I started off in a medical neurology and later got a bed in the surgical unit . Everyone has been helpful and kind . I’m in a single room with en suite !
I went for a walk late afternoon in the park nearby in which Craigmillar Castle is situated. It’s one of the best preserved medieval castles in Scotland. It was sunny but bitterly cold .
My son phoned me to see how I am . He’s starting a surgical rotation this week. I hope I can see him soon.
I think I’m first on the list tomorrow for surgery.
